Roberto Charitable (Haitian-born, Jan 1st, 2004) is a multimedia artist based in Nassau, Bahamas.

His artistic journey began with a desperate search for self-expression, eventually discovered and developed a deep connection with digital and conceptual art. Influenced by introspective explorations, Charitable creates work that speaks to the raw emotional undercurrents of his life & surrounding.

A self-taught artist, that often rejects traditional forms in favor of reinvention, producing thought-provoking visuals that invite reflection.

His work is a deliberate expression of emotion — a language for what cannot be spoken aloud.

Artist Statement

I create not because I want to, but because I have to. My work exists at the intersection of melancholy and chaos—the two emotional states I call home. In that tension, I make art not to explain, but to relieve.

It’s my therapy, a way to cope with the anger, frustration, emptiness, and passion that consume me.

It’s the only language i speak fluently.

My medium is fluid—photography, digital manipulation, moving visuals,

Each piece woven into immersive visual language. Every creation is a fragment of my inner architecture:

veiled, volatile, deliberate.

I don’t seek attention. I seek resonance,

a connection with those who feel the same unspoken intensity. My Art holds my secrets, and through it, I tell the stories I can’t say aloud.

I emerged in the void. Not shaped by the world, but alien to it. An outsider by design, not accident. The world never made sense, so I made it my own.

I have 2 mood either Chaotic or melancholy either I feel nothing at all or too much at once

I found language in chaos, meaning in melancholy, and I create to relief.

Misunderstood? Always.

Rejected? Expected.

Seen? Only by the broken, the wild, the divine.

I am melancholic at the core.- Sadness is not a weakness—it’s the ink I write with.

I chase the light, even when it burns.-

I want what hurts because it means I’m still feeling. Still alive.

I am art.- Not just what I create. The way I speak. Dress. Love. Move. Break. Rise.
